What If…:
We have recently started a new series titles “What If” the thought behind this series is “What If” we stepped up and asked the hard questions, discussed the controversial topics and broke down the barriers keeping students out of the church. The mission here at AFA is to Know God and Make Him Know. The first and extremely crucial step is to know God. How can we know God if we do not have a relationship with him and how can we develop this relationship if we do not take a leap of faith and give our lives over completely to God. The youth of today and the adults of tomorrow can google or ask Siri any question they have, so why should they turn too God to answer these big questions. During this series we will take an in-depth dive into what the Bible has to say as we study Ephesians.

Patience is a virtue. It is something that we all have struggled with at some point in our lives. It does not always come easily. We live in a society of instant gratification and constant change. We have forgotten the days of dial up internet and waiting for your older sibling to get off the land line. We have to remember to have patience in our lives especially our prayer lives. God has perfect timing. When we pray we expect an instant response and immediate answer, but God will answer you when the time is right. We have to open up our spiritual heart and ears to hear what he has to say even when it is not what we wanted to hear. You may have to wait for a prophecy to come to pass because of the timing. God has a purpose, plan and process! Remember to have patience in all areas of your life.
